They represent a wide period of history and a continuing train of thought, that not even massive waves of anti-socialist thought and pro-capitalism periods could deny, and that is that without question a state of some sort is necessary. In order to benefit the economics of society and, perhaps, more importantly the moral conditions and freedoms that the individuals in society desire, it is obvious that we do need a state.
