The basis and reliability of certain innate factors within the structure of an individual’s life are taken for granted. When these seemingly infinite truths are doubted the result is a plethora of fallacies stacked upon one another.

In conclusion, the similarities between these two works are obvious. However, the most significant difference is not as evident. The varying is discovered at the root. Descartes believed that even if the world were a sham there would still be those arithmetic, and corporeal elements that would remain true. But in the Matrix nothing is true because the world itself is a hoax constructed by evil gods, namely A.I.
