It’s hard for the viewer not to feel more sorry for the conniving killer (the husband) than the intended victim (the wife). It’s fun watching Tony Wendice try to cover his tracks and squirm as his plan fails. I can clearly see why everyone proclaims Hitchcock to be a superb director and why this movie is considered a classic. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this thriller.
