Critical Analysis

I have chosen to use my knowledge of New Criticism to analyze Alice Walker’s short story "Roselily". Her short story has many meanings. Roselily’s attitudes towards life do not make her an unpleasant person, however, she has to realize that if she does not change, the world will not change, and she will never find and live the life she has always wanted.
