Confucius and Lao Tzu Confucius and Lao Tzu were two highly known scholars in Ancient China. These scholars with their intellectual writings changed the views of the Chinese people. Confucius believed in the moral values and filial piety, he also wanted civic obedience. Lao Tzu was a mystical writer, his comparison between a “perfect world” and the “real world” made people think to act as loving and caring peoples. On the contrary, Lao Tzu believed that people behaved according to instinct and were influenced by their surroundings. He also believed that the world should be filled with love and caring. Their twoo writings, “Tao-Te Ching” and “Lun Yu” were two very powerful writings giving both of their views.
