Cloning to Revive Extinct Species

Unnecessary , irresponsible and rash are the words that spring to my mind when this question is asked. Evedently there are many reasons why cloning extinct species should NOT be continued, from reasons of unsuccessfulness, misuses in research, wasting money and societys time and hope and animal welfare and ethical reseverations. Lets hope that we can get control of this foolish technology , so in the near future we will not be effected by the carelessness of science and cloning.
