“Civilization” Thomas Ince’s Civilization was very dramatic and easy to follow. Although it’s a silent film you are able to do your own narration. Horrifying visuals, side effects and he piles on extreme situations after another. Several explosions of smoke, that begging for their lives and for a happy ending, peace was finally found. Thomas Ince’s masterpiece is an anti-war drama that combines spectacular battle scenes, religious symbolism and a tender story.
