Bruno Bettelheim, the author of "Cinderella": A Story of Sibling Rivalry and Oedipal Conflicts", lived from 1903 to 1990. During his life, he became a well known psychologist and educator. He served as a professor of psychology at Rockford College in 1939 when he became naturalized as an American citizen. Bettelheim was a fruitful writer and was awarded the honor of fellow by several major professional associations.

informed about how a child definitely will feel, but more of how a child might feel after viewing the movie. I don’t think that the essay was particularly useful, unless a parent is actually going to soak up the information Bettelheim held in his essay and believe every bit of it. However, it might be something that a parent could look into and see if their child is definitely affected by the Cinderella story.
