The war lasted less than a year and the Chinese Communist won a victory. Afterwards, most of the remnants in the Kuomintang party fled to Taiwan to settle and control the local area. The Chinese Communist made its proclamation of the Chinese People’s Republic on October1, 1949.
After 1949 the life of the Chinese Communist Party was taken up with serious disagreements over the country’s development. The Communism was not suitable for China’s development.
