Character Summary of Sister in
Eudora Welty’s character Sister in “Why I live at the P.O.” has many characteristics. None of are them very good. She is jealous, self-absorbed, and rude. She does not think about how what she does affects anyone but her. Welty may have been trying to create a figure one could feel sorry for, but it did not come across that way to me.
