Ultimately, the credit card user has bought their own initiation gift and supplied the company with enough surplus through interest rates for salaries within the company. Isn’t it ironic? Once again the average consumer did not get anywhere near “ahead of the game”. Credit card companies are always one step ahead, leaving the consumer so far behind that cheesy gifts and lame promos actually seem to compensate for the deception.
