there are several steps involved in airport security. First of all, everyone is required to have their id’s checked. After that you must walk through a metal detector and your luggage is sent through an X-ray machine, metal detector, and chemical snifters (Tyson 1). It would seem obvious that preventing a terrorist from boarding a plane would be in everyone’s best interests. If that is true; biometrics could play a huge role in this.
