One aspect of life the movie, “Billy Elliot”, looks at is overcoming obstacles. During the film there are many obstacles that Billy must overcome to get where he wants to go, one of these being his dad. …showed last 75 words of 559 total…Billy loved ballet and was going do it no matter what he did and he had raised the money for the trip to London but he had not recovered from the loss of his mother and probably wouldn’t for a long time. So, out of all the obstacles that he had to overcome, he didn’t overcome his Mother’s death which I think was his biggest obstacle in his life, not his father.
