Beowulf

The passage I chose was Beowulf’s fight with Grendal’s mother, which to me was the most exciting. During this underwater fight, the second of his three fights, Beowulf and his adversary continually battle throughout her home. Although the conflict seems unrealistic because of the location, it makes the battle even more thrilling and suspenseful. …showed last 75 words of 481 total…think that the fight between Grendal's mother and Beowulf was the most exciting and thrilling. This epic constantly kept me on my toes wondering who was going to prevail. I do not think there was that I was more confused about who would win than during this fight. The imagery, suspense, excitement, and mood made this the most exciting fight in this wonderful poem. For anyone that has not read Beowulf, I strongly recommend it.
