In conclusion, Creon, the bizarre character in “Antigone” proves to be the tragic hero as he qualifies with his characteristics and decision making. He fulfilled every need of a tragic hero, including his reversal even though he did not initially realize that his acts would eventually haunt him for the rest of his life. The novel and play “Antigone” depicts Creon as being a bizarre but terrific tragic hero.
