Ansett will leave much to be desired – its sense of identity has established itself as more of a ‘home-made’ airline, with more Aussie values than possibly any other airline. Unfortunately ansett does not leave the aviation industry with all thumbs-up, many creditors, some staff and even a few former passengers criticising the way in which ansett was run – however, as you would have seen Ansett’s departure has brought about a sombre yet cheerful atmosphere.
