Book Report on Anne of Green Gables At the beginning of this book the Cuthberts, Mathew and Marilla, decide that they want to adopt a boy to help Mathew on the farm. So they sent news to a Mrs. Spencer who was visiting a place near an asylum in Novia Scotland who would pick one out for them. So, Anne’s treacherous story begins.
