If I had lived in the 1820s, I’m not sure whether or not I would have voted
for Andrew Jackson, because he made both, in my opinion, good and
bad decisions while he was president. Also, his personality made a huge
impact on the way he ruled our country. I sorted through the positive and
negative things from his presidency to make my decision.

since he wanted to do the impossible, I think that’s the reason he ran
through the problems he did while he was the president.
So, in conclusion, I would not have voted for Andrew Jackson as
president in the 1828 election because I do feel he believed in what he
was doing and I think that if people had seen this before the fact, he
wouldn’t have won as president.
