society live in better conditions than more of the poor in other countries. However, Carnegie’s philosophy is based on the fact that the poor will always exist. In a socialistic society where wealth is spread among the population Carnegie’s philosophy would not work. At this point in my life and career I feel fortunate that I am offered the same opportunity for success that Carnegie had and agree with his philosophy.
