by a revolution, I’d say that it was a revolution of both the mind and the fist. The years before the War of Independence, when the colonists quickly grew tired of British tyranny, their minds were actively involved in a revolution. However, when the War of Independence turned into a conflict, the revolution of the mind turned into a revolution of bloodshed, which would eventually lead to the long sought freedom of the colonists.
