“Allegory of the Cave,” written by Plato (c. 427-347 B.C.E) is a small excerpt from The Republic. This is a parable concerning the growth of an individual from ignorance into an enlightened leadership role.

the others of what he saw? Plato explains that they would laugh even possibly kill him. Instead of quarreling about what shadows came in what order the returning prisoner would try and explain in reality what the shadows were. But he is only laughed at. The returning prisoner took the initiative to try to tell others the truth and reality. He will see far better than those down there always. Leading with a good heart.
