We have made great strides toward equality but there is still a great deal of prejudice and injustice that still goes on today. social studies class on base about two months ago. To give you a idea of what I’m trying to get at the racial make up of the class consisted of 2 blacks in the class of 30 people we were discussing affirmative action. When I ask the class what they thought the manager meant by, you sound different on the phone. The only one in the class who could figure out my point was the teacher.
