it was made, but it’s not a good movie for very young children or ones who worry a lot. There are several scenes where people are going up to the guillotine and you see the blade fall. Also lots of tense scenes and several trial scenes. The acting is a little over done at times, but much better than many of that time I’ve seen. Many of the performances are very well done.
