A&P was a very descriptive piece of writing, which is about a boy working at a local grocery store. He describes the people he encounters working there. He comes upon a problem. The writing he does is very unique. The more descriptive a story is the better it is because the thoughts and pictures become more clear in your head. The feelings that John Updike puts behind his work in this story are just superior.
